The restyling of the Audi coupe finally benefits from the TT RS version. Under the hood, the famous 5-cylinder turbo is always faithful to the post.
It is the turn of the most muscular Audi TT to benefit from a makeover. Like its little sister the TT S, the Audi TT RS now adopts large air intakes on the front bumper, as well as vertical air intakes under the rear lights that recall the supersport R8. The model of the range is however recognizable by its new fin, its honeycomb grille, and its two impressive exhaust outlets. The cockpit, for its part, has not undergone significant modification.
The followers of the always more will certainly be frustrated by reading the technical characteristics. The cure of youth is limited to the cosmetic, the mechanical part not evolving. The mass of the coupé (1,450 kg) remains almost unchanged. The “RS Sport” suspension, always available as an option, gives access to the “Audi Magnetic Ride” adaptive dampers. Under the hood, we find the block of the 2020 Audi TT RS, which has won the International Engine of the Year Award nine times in a row. This 5-cylinder turbo, a configuration that has become legendary at the Ingolstadt manufacturer since the Audi Sport Quattro rally in Group B, develops 400 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.
